Posted by Anthony Carnaxide on February 24, 2007 at 1:52 pmI was wondering if I can use the LA component out to a Panasonic 37″ plasma monitor for video playback.
Has anyone used this set-up on a Macbbok Pro?
If this can’t work what would you use?Travis Ballstadt replied 19 years, 2 months ago 4 Members · 5 Replies -

February 24, 2007 at 7:22 pmThe AJA IO LA has component out. So, you can feed it into any monitor that has a Component input.
Or composite or Y/C. -

What monitor would you use for playback of DVCPRO HD?

you started this thread off by asking if you could use a 37″ Panasonic monitor, and I said YES. So to answer your question again, YES, your choice would work, as would countless other monitors on the market.Bob Zelin

March 10, 2007 at 3:22 amThe IoLA will not play DVCProHD out. It is SD only. Before you buy a new monitor to view HD, you’ll need to get a Kona card.
