I was wondering if I can use the LA component out to a Panasonic 37″ plasma monitor for video playback.
Has anyone used this set-up on a Macbbok Pro?
If this can’t work what would you use?

The AJA IO LA has component out. So, you can feed it into any monitor that has a Component input.
    Or composite or Y/C.

    Hi Bob,

What monitor would you use for playback of DVCPRO HD?

    Anthony –
you started this thread off by asking if you could use a 37″ Panasonic monitor, and I said YES. So to answer your question again, YES, your choice would work, as would countless other monitors on the market.

The IoLA will not play DVCProHD out. It is SD only. Before you buy a new monitor to view HD, you’ll need to get a Kona card.
