AJA Kona LHi and Adobe CS5
Hi,
I recently upgraded to Adobe CS5. I’ve seen some pre-release press stating that AJA supported CS5 across the Kona product line. I have AJA firmware 7.5.1 which allowed video output from Photoshop and After Effects CS4. I can get video output from After Effects CS5 but not from Photoshop CS5 and I’ve gotta plead ignorance as to video output with Premiere Pro. Could someone point me in the right direction or fill me in on the current poop regarding AJA Kona LHi and Adobe CS5?

Perhaps it was for the windows side of things?
I don’t think CS5 support has been released for Mac from AJA.

Thanks for your quick response. Here’s the link where I read about the aja support. (https://www.macworld.com/article/150681/2010/04/aja_cs5.html) It refers to Q2 2010 for release of the plug ins. Perhaps they just haven’t published them yet.

Support has been added in this release for Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop CS5 (AJA plug-ins are now all 64 bit). Also added were support for Premiere Pro CS5’s Mercury Playback Engine, CineForm stereoscopic playback, and Real-Time Apple ProRes playback support for AJA Premiere Pro sequences. Please read the included release notes for additional information. A new KONA for PC manual, version 5.0, has also been released covering the CS5 support and other changes.
