AJA Kona hardware solution
Hi Guys,
I’m currently looking into upgrading my old MacPro system with the new MacPro.
I also use a Blackmagic Decklink Extreme card in my old MacPro.I need a new hardware solution since the new MacPro only uses thunderbolt (and HDMI or USB 3) devices.
I use the Blackmagic Decklink card by:
- Sending a video/audio signal from the edit suite to the client viewing monitor via analog signal (analog cables are running under the carpet, will need to upgrade to HDMI eventually)
- Receiving an audio signal from the Audio booth via XLR – the Audio booth is connected to a Sound Mixer which is then connected to the Audio-In of the Blackmagic card.
Can anyone suggest a hardware solution that will address my current situation?

You may want to look at the AJA Io XT:
https://www.aja.com/en/products/io-xtThe only item from your list that the Io XT does not natively offer is analog audio input. This could be accomplished via the use of a converter, such as the AJA HD10AMA, used in combination with the Io XT:
