AJA KONA CS5 MAC Plug ins
I can’t seem to get my CS5 plugins to install correctly. After effects works ok but then when I go to launch FCP I lose the card and the control panel is stuck in free run. Only a restart allows me back in to FCP with Kona output. Photoshop has the plugin but no settings are available or output, and Premiere has no AJA output. I’m using the 8.0.1 NDD driver for my Kona LHI, and have uninstalled and reinstalled but with the same results. I have tried just installing the AE Plug-in and all kinds of variations with that world but to no avail.

Uninstall the AJA Kona CS5 plugin. Reinstall it unchecking After Effects to install. It is not needed with After Effects. I had the same issue. AJA Tech advised me to uncheck AE when reinstalling.

Great work around…Can’t imagine this is what AJA intended but I’m back and forth from FCP and AE which is what was important to me. Still no Photoshop settings for the plugin. Hopefully a new release soon.
