June 21, 2007 at 11:54 amwell to counter that last post – i too work in the happy land of PAL and am very satisfied with the Kona 3.
Its been rock solid, for both input and output of SDI. I have not used it for other formats so i can’t comment on those.adam

July 4, 2007 at 3:40 amIt seems that one of the major reasons to buy an AJA card of a BMD would be their excellent support. Does anyone have any experience with the technical support in Australia? I would assume that AJA would try to have the same level around the world but I would love to hear from anyone with actual experience.

July 6, 2007 at 12:16 amHi PompeyPete,
My name is Eamon and I work for Adimex, the Australian and New Zealand Distributor of AJA products. We offer free technical support to all AJA customers in Australia and New Zealand.
We also have a very close relationship with AJA’s support people so you can rest assured if you purchase AJA in Australia or New Zealand you will get the same high level of support that all the other people are raving about in this forum.
Adimex’s details can be found at http://www.adimex.com.au, feel free to give me a call anytime during office hours.
All the best,
Eamon
