So, I’m using an online closed captioning service. Their interface is PC only. I’m running it on a MacBookPro with Boot Camp. Everything is working fine.

To create the final closed captioning file, you export a video file to your computer, which you then lay underneath the video on your timeline, with just the top portion peeking over the top of your program, creating the CC.

Problem is, I work with an Aja IoLA in FCP, and the Windows partition on the MBP isn’t able to see the Aja codecs to export to.

Can I somehow install them on a Windows machine? Or can I use the Xena codecs? What type of file should I export to to get into FCP?
