AJA IOHD – How to connect an HVR-M15E?
I’m using the AJA IOHD with a MacBook Pro and G-Drive Q using eSata.
Does anyone know how I can link an HVR-M15E HDV deck to the AJA IOHD?
As far as I can see the only way is to come out of the HDV deck component but then what about remote control and audio?Appreciate any help.

While I don’t have that deck, I looked it up.
Looks like video by component, audio by rca > XLR cables (or through a mixer) > deck control would be a lanc to rs422 converter from addenda if they are still around, it used to be called the rosetta. A cursory google search turned up this:
