    AJA io4K on 2012 Mac Mini?

    Given that the 2012 Mac Mini has Thunderbolt 1 (not 2), is it compatible with io4K (Thunderbolt 2) and will it work to capture a single 720p59.94 SDI stream?

    Yes it will. I have that exact setup and it works great for 1080 and 720.
