AJA Io now Apple Qualified for FCP5
We are extremely pleased to announce that our *Io is the first capture device to be Apple Qualified for Final Cut Pro 5!*
The Io was Qualified with the current 2.0 driver, and 23-28 firmware. Here is the link to Apple’s latest Qualification list:

Yeah… Big surprise! Apple’s design, Apple’s drivers, Apple’s application. I wonder what took them so long? And there’s still no audio gain control.

Very pleased for you guys. So, now that it is qualified, can I see the test results made to qualify the quality of the analogue audio output of the IO box. I still maintain that it is unacceptably higher than the input…easy to prove. Digitise a test tone. Don’t touch it in FCP. Play it out again…Its louder.
