AJA IO LA Betacam Deck not locking picture
AJA IO LA on FW400 built-in port
PB 17″ with G-raid on a FW 800 cardbusI have reference going into both the AJA IO ref in and the Betacam (BVW-75) deck. R-y B-y Y from AJA to deck.
When I monitor the deck and play the timeline, I’m getting the black sync bar as if they are not locked. Monitor the AJA and all is fine.
What am I doing wrong?

Do you have the reference terminated?

Perhaps there’s an option in the VBW 75 to change the reference from input video to external genlock. Just a thought as I am not familiar with that deck.
