AJA IO and new G5’s/FCP5

Yes all versions of the Io work with the PCIe macs and no firmware update is needed apple did not screw with the FW in this machine rev.

Yes I was, weren’t you?

The Io has no relationship with the PCIe Bus it is a FW based product only, so it is not affected by the PCIe changes.

If you are looking at a card based capture look into the Kona LHe which is I believe is currently the only shipping capture card for the PCIe Macs. (I do not believe the BMD products for the PCIe Macs are shipping as of today’s date, but I could be wrong)
