Came to a moment when it would be nice to have some hardware acceleration and have a good opertunity to buy a Decklink HD card.
Would not like to replace IO completly as it is the best capture device I ever saw and we all got used to it so much that moving to something else would be a nightmare. I know that some of you will say that I should buy a nice Kona or LH card, but I am getting this Decklink for a fraction of cost of any of Aja cards.

Anyone has any info on Aja IO and Decklink HD connected to same box?

Il work without any problem, this is my config… and you can use your Io to output something done with the Decklink and vice-versa.

Yes, I believe it should work fine. Keep in mind, there’s always a possibility of driver/codec conflicts in the future with that setup, which will never be the case with a Kona HD cards and the Io. Tech-support, in the case of a problem between the Decklink and Io, would be difficult as well because you’re dealing with two company’s (3 if you count Apple). None the less, enjoy your new HD card and your bullet-proof AJA Io. It sounds like a nice combo.
