AJA Crashing 1080i in FCP

Hi Matt,

I think the issue is with Final Cut Pro. There is some sort of Memory leak causing the problem this came from an Apple Tech I believe. It’s not a problem with the Kona Card.

it is a compressor error in the conversion – this is a ProRes de-compression error.

It is best NOT to use the ProRes HQ settings when transcoding via software- you are most likely working from 8bit media and it is actually detrimental to use the HQ codec when the material is not HQ,
