AJA av output not found???
Kona 3 installed in a mac pro. Last week AJA video output worked with FCPX, today I came in and it’s not seen by FCPX. I reinstalled FCPX and the AJA 10.3 plugins – nothing. Trashed prefs, all that. In preferences av output says ‘None Found”. Under window AV OUTPUT is greyed out.
Am I missing something really simple here? What would cause the AJA Kona 3 to disappear from preferences and not be available for FCPX?

Have you tried re seating the Kona card? I have had to reseat mine a few times.
Does the AJA settings app see the card?
Give AJA tech support a call, they have always been very helpful.
Let us know how this is resolved.

According to Dawn at AJA control should be set to 10 bit YUV for FCPX. Flipped the switch and it came right back!
