AJ1200a Error 52 & 53 Information
Just for Panasonic AJ1200a users:
I recently received Error 52 and 53, which basically disables the deck (stopping all work flow after only 2 months from the purchase date of the deck). In order to eject the tape you have to power off and back on and when you attempt to play, rec fwd and rew, you will get the same Error 53 (or 52

Good info Eric. Knock on wood, my 1200A has been running almost non-stop for 7 months with barely a hiccup.
