Has anyone had issues with the AJ-YAX800G proxy card. I’m using it in an HPX-2700. I first began having issues while rolling longer interviews. At about he 15min mark, the roll would quit and the warning light would flash. The P2 files were still there, but couldn’t be imported into an Avid system. They went fine into FCP for some reason. The Proxy files were also present and worked fine. I did not get a proxy card record error message when this happened. The proxy card was set to record to the P2 cards at its lowest compression setting.

I have since received many proxy card record errors, usually while rolling longer clips, and they always cut the roll.

If leave the card in the camera but just turn it off in the menus, the camera works fine.

Any ideas? Bad card? Bad firmware? Operator error?

    Thanks,

    Gabe
