Airplane noise
I need to remove the sound of an airplane that flew overhead when someone we interviewed was speaking. I have FCP 3.0, I don’t have Soundtrack Pro, but I do have Pro Tools 7.0. I understand that FCP has a HIGH PASS filter which is supposed to remove these types of low frequency sounds. I tried to do this, but no matter what frequency and ratio I chose, I could always hear the airplane in the background. At about 100 threshold and a ratio of 15, the person’s voice sounded deeper and more resonant, but so did the airplane! What do you recommend I do?
