  Aiff – Seq. and Import Specs for a 1080i output?

  I was wondering what would be the best specs to import an aiff file for a 1080i D5 output. The Aiff/Song is hot (Very “S”ey and some distortion in the current 720p project (Even though the levels read at -12db *with the song volume being at -12). Is this a problem due to specs of the Aiff not matching the seq. settings? And what would be the best specs for the D5 output? Can the specs of the original Aiff be safely converted for the D5?
