May 7, 2006 at 2:30 pmhello.
when i write longer texts in illustrator, probaly i push some shortcut and text cursor becomes hidden. so cant find how to bring it back, only by copying text in diffrent document it becomes visible.so, is it some bug with ai. or its realy a some switch. ctrl+h doesnt work in this case.
thank in advance

May 8, 2006 at 2:34 pmTry Ctrl H(PC) Command (H)Mac. That is the show.hide edges comand whcih woudl hide the seelction on your text or the point/area text selection indiciator.
Otherwise if the actual I-beam bar is gone you may have a technical problem which may be fixed by resetting your illustrator prefereences.

May 8, 2006 at 3:32 pmthank you richard and mike!
actually i know all the ctrl+h(PC), CapsLocks.
anyway thank you for your time and sugestions.
acctually i dont even restart illustrator, just copy>paste in new document and it works till it stops, and then again copy>paste in another document. its boring. as well illustrator have problems saving ower old documents. etc. so it becomes a mess.i run sertified PC BOXX, so i hope there should be no massive problems in metal & plastic
just some software BSt.any more ideas?
thanks in advance!
