i continue to get an error when trying to import an AI file into proanimator. its not a complicated logo. i have it in PSD and export the paths to illustrator and can even reopen the ai in coreldraw (thats what i personally use for vector art). but when i go to import into proanimator it always gives the error that there are no usable vector paths or something like that. please advise.

    update on this:

i installed illustrator and successfully imported my logo. problem was when i fill in the areas that are to be solid it covered other areas, for instance a circle inside a triangle should be cut out rather than just on top of it. i know how to do all of this in corel, but not in illustrator. how do you do “front minus back”, etc, if you can that is. once i imported my somewhat jacked logo into proanimater i had a front face not attached to the back face so when i went to increase the width it just increased the seperation between the two faces, what did i do wrong?

In Illustrator you create a “compound path”. Basic Illustrator preparation for ProAnimator is part of the new Zaxwerks ProAnimator training (https://zaxwerks.com/dvdtraining/index.shtml).
