Ai files disappear after export in Ae.
I hope someone can help with this, it’s probably something silly I’m doing.
I’ve got a title in AE with a precomp of around 200 Ai layers in it (it’s a shattertext title). My problem is, I can see everything fine in my composition view and during playback but when I export it to an AVI, my Ai files aren’t there.
I’ve tried using dynamic link to put the comp straight into Premiere and it works fine there, although in the final export the movements aren’t smooth like they should be.
I’m using After effects cs5 (and premiere cs5)
Comp settings:
PAL D1/DV Widescreen (720×576)
Frame rate: 25These are the same settings used in my Premiere project.
Also, I’m very new to AE and self-taught so please be kind with your terminology!

Turn off Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously multiprocessing. Does it work then?
Also, make sure that youa re showing thumbnails in the Project panel (i.e., the Disable Thumbnails In Project Panel option is not checked).

By the way, I know that those two items that I mentioned seem weird, but they’re meant to work around a very specific known issue (i.e., bug).
