AI-CS2 “Document Modified Outside of Illustrator..”
I’ve just installed IA-CS2, and updated to 12.01. Now, every Save is accompanied by the warning…
“This file has been modified outside of Illustrator. Do you want to continue?”.
Regardless of how simple the modification is, I get this warning. I’m afraid to open any of the more complex documents that I need to work on.
I’ve seen this warning, occasionally, in the past. But, not on every Save.Note: I’ve also upgraded to Suitcase 11 with the Illustrator font activation plugin. However, no fonts are being activated in the AI documents that I’m testing this problem with.
Any ideas?

Looks like it probably was the Suitcase/Illustrator Font Activation Plugin.
In Suitcase, I went to Tools/Remove Plugins, and rebooted. Issue solved. 🙁 -
Switch off the autosave option.
I was having same issue but reverted to using (free) Autosaviour from astute graphics.com and problem solved!
