I just want to say thanks to Aharon for the great help his tutorials are. This past week somebody mentioned the “scribble” effect to create a cartoon tornado, so I started messing around with it, all the time wishing for a cool tutorial.

Proving once again that he is telepathetic, Aharon posts a tutorial on the effect for me on the Cow podcast page.

If I grow up I want to be Aharon Rabinowitz in Andrew Kramers body.

Thanks you guys for helping me… seriously.

You’re absolutely right! I was just trying to use the colorama effect with little success and then today discovered his recent tutorial on ramps/gradients that covered it! You’re the man, Aharon. Keep up the great work!

In Andrew Kramers body?! what’s that supposed to mean?! I eat my vegetables. I go to the gym. Grrrr.

    Glad I can help.

Would you rather be thought of as smart or good looking?

Aharon is “telepathetic”? I find it hard to believe he is pathetic at anything let alone tele.
    Keep up the good work!

Haha, I didn’t even notice that! And might I add that I would prefer to be in Aharon’s body over Andrew’s any day.

I’m assuming you realize that my original post was a weak attempt at using humour to say that BOTH Aharon and Andrew have contributed alot to my development as an AE user. While there are many with HUGE amounts of knowledge of AE, and with most excellent helps in the forum, I’m as shallow as a kiddie pool and as sharp as a marble. Aharon and Andrew’s highly visual tutorials contain enough formula for an AE newbie like me, while giving some steak for the rest of you.

To be honest, when I am searching for specific solutions, I will often include their names and read what they have to say first because I seem to understand it a bit better.

Many, many thanks for all of the CC AE posters, but Mucho Many thanks to Aharon and Andrew.
