i’ve been having odd drop-outs, early ending files, and corupted files running my GH4 recently (HD, not even 4k). very intermittent and random.

both my 64Gb sandisk cards are getting a two or three years old – could this be the problem, or should i be worrying about my camera?

latest issue was a file (among many in a recording session) that looks intact in browser, reading around 4GB size, with a little thumbnail, but neither FCPX nor quicktime will open it. (quicktime says it’s not a movie file, and FCPX just doesn’t see it) – any suggestions for any mac software that might have a stab at repairing it? because my feeling is that most of the data must be there and just some sort of header corrupted.
