    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know which film scratch aged film filter out there is the best for Final Cut Pro? I’ve come up with a few in research but I was wondering if anyone has tried them and knows what they like.

    Thanks!
    David

I’m partial to the filter in the Boris Continuum Complete package.

And don’t forget QT Pro will do it on it’s own too.

You could also have a look at the filmic and old-tv filter in FxFactory.

The others mentioned may work well, but the one in Boris Continuum Complete is outstanding. About 7 or 8 controls in there, all very sensitive.

Pick one, use with caution. Very little aged film effect is required to convince an audience they’re seeing aged film. Too much tells them they are seeing a lame or clich
