    Hi
    Please forgive me but i have a little knowledge and need some help please

    used a z1 love it , but thiking of a getting a Panasonic ag hvx200p .

    1 , is it pal or NTSC ( will be picking one up in the usa ) but for use in the uk

    2, is the lens as wide angle as the z1

    3 is it easy to connect the cards to a macbook pro

    4 is the low light / gain as good as the z1?

    i use the camera for online use and edit in final cut

    It’s one or the other- you want to get a model in Europe.

    2, is the lens as wide angle as the z1

    No idea- I’d guess pretty close. You can readily google up those specs though.

    3 is it easy to connect the cards to a macbook pro

    Not exactly- you need a P2 card reader which can be expensive or the camera itself- which is really slow.

    4 is the low light / gain as good as the z1?

    Can’t comment- in general Sony has a bit of an edge here but it’s not night and day.

    If you’re going to be in NYC while in the US, you can get one from B&H that shoots PAL. About $4k. HVX200AE.
