    My client is reports they are getting a “general error” in Final Cut Pro from some clip shot with an Alexa. Can anyone explain what a general error is and if there is a work around?

    I viewed the footage on my FCP system and found the error always occurs at the last 10 seconds of the clip. However, when the clip is viewed in Quicktime, it plays fine.

    Open one of the problem clips in QuickTime player and do a “Save as..” self contained. That may fix it. Were these recorded with the new 3.0 firmware?
