  AFX render window goes black and drops layers..same with render

  Hey guys,

  I’ve done a search and can’t seem to find anything..

  I’m doing a 1280*720 25p music vid..

  AMD 64 Dual core 4400+ 2.31ghz with 4gig ram
  Windows XP pro

  using trapcode plugz and comping in a few lighting effects.

  Every now and then a layer drops out of the comp’s video window and it just refuses to show it.. cleared the cache.. done the secret settings..still no love.

  Close the prog, relaunch and it’s back again fine.

  Also on a render.. to QT animation the frame just goes black at random points throughout the render.

  This happens when trying to render a targa sequence as well.

  Any ideas?
