    Afx freezes and doesn´t save

    Hi,

    i am having a Problem with Afx CS5.5. When working normally,it freezes and i can´t move the mouse
    or do anything else, not even “force quit” the application externally. The whole computer then freezes and i have to make a restart. Also when this happens, and i open my project again after restarting the computer, Afx didnt save my last changes (even though a saved and it showed me that it was saving)

    i never had this problem before. Could anyone help me on this?
    here are some specs of my computer in case it helps:
    -I have a Mac and i have Mac OSX 10.6.8 installed
    -I have OpenGL and Multiprocessing off
    -I have 4,5 GB Ram for Afx

    thank you for your fast answer!

    so would this be a RAM Problem then? i am working on a very “light” project though with many layers an in HD,
    but it is all graphic (typography and shape layers). However, what is the RAM you would recommend for Afx?
