Hi everybody,
Hope you can help me. I am using AE 6.0, and trying to render out a composition with sound. I keep getting the error message:

I had this probelm quite alot with AE 5.5..usually it just didn’t like MP3s, but also happened with WAVs when I had a particular version of Quicktime. Try going back to an older v. of QT and see if it fixes. There are some known bugs with 5.5, not sure about 6.0. But it’s worth a try.

Actually, I think this is mor eof a QT7 issue. I had this problem for ages in AE5.5 since upgrading to QT7. Once I upgraded AE to version 7 this stopped. I have been told on several forums that AE5 (and possibly 6 in your case) doesnt like QT7.

yeah, there should be a throwback iinstaller on the apple download site, but you may hav to dig for it
