  • AFX effect looks fine outside of PPro, jerky inside of PPro sequence

I made a short title effect in AFX CC, and imported it into PPro CC. It looks fine inside of AFX, or when I clicked on the rendered/exported file and played it outside of my PPro sequence. But inside the sequence it looks jerky, i.e. not smooth and fluid, and the motion looks unnatural. I’d be grateful for any thoughts on why this could be the case.
    Thanks, Neil

Could be a frame rate issue, or it just needs to be rendered before playback. What file format is it?

Thanks Daniel. You were right on the frame rate issue. The PPro sequence that created the problem was 24 fps, where the problem went away when I created the sequence from the AFX export itself, which was a 29.97 fps sequence. I thought the original PPro sequence I’d created was 29.97.
    Much appreciated.
