AFX CS3 “Unknown Text Edit Error”
Two days ago I upgraded to a new Mac Pro 8 core running Leopard and CS3 8.0.2.
I created a new folder in the Project Panel, before I could name it I must have clicked the mouse to exit the naming field.
I got an alert stating:
“After Effects warning: Unknown text edit error.”The application is stuck in a loop, I can’t rename the folder nor can I select anything or undo without getting the same error message.
Is this a Leopard bug or is something else amiss?

I did manage to quit. Not by force quitting which invoked the error message — rather I right clicked on the AFX icon in the Dock and selected Quit — which brought up the Save dialog.
I saved, rebooted, opened the file and thankfully had lost nothing.
File this under weird.
