AfterEffects 7 and 3rd party effects
Hello,
I’m running AE 6.5 Pro on OS X 10.4.5.
I heard, possibly anecdotally, that there may be issues with AE 7 and 3rd party plug-ins.
Is this true? If so, are there particular plugs that are known to work with AE 7 and ones that are known to be problematic?

Whenever Adobe updates one of their apps (AE, Photoshop, etc.), plug-ins sometimes break because of changes Adobe makes. But Adobe talks with the plug-in developers and lets them know about the changes, and most of the developers have updates ready shortly after the updates ship.
As far as I know, most of the developers have updated their plug-ins for AE7. There’s some hold-outs, like Digieffects, but I think they’re working on it.
