  • After Upgrade to CS5 – Reinstall Intensity Pro?

PP CS5 should be arriving any day now. Do I need to reinstall the Intensity Pro software/drivers after upgrading CS3 to CS5?

Just wondering if the Blackmagic presets will still be there.

    Hi.

Usually always you instal BM drivers after Premiere.

In fact, we have a new update just out today with more presets!

Either way you should always reinstall if you upgrade your Adobe suite as the drivers need the presence of Adobe’s preset folders to install the presets.

I’ve just upgraded to Prod Premium CS5 from CS4 on my Vista 64 bit system and then installed the new 3.6.4 Intensity Pro driver. PP does not see the Intensity Pro at all now and I can’t get playback from the preview window or the timeline. Any suggestions?

Removed and reinstalled driver – now presets are showing up correctly and PP and Intensity Pro are talking.
