After Time Machine rebuild my timelines are gone….
Hi
I’m on an iMac and my hard drive recently died. I was able to have a new drive installed and do a complete backup from my Time Machine with no issues.
However.
When I go into Resolve (18.6) and try to open a project, my timelines are gone.
That’s when it opens. Trying to open a different project just crashes the app outright.
I’m on the free version, so phone support isn’t a thing.
Can any of you help? Thanks!

I would restore your database from a backup done by Resolve, not Time machine. It is just a good idea to keep a backup of individual projects regularly and a total database backup monthly. This should be to another drive, not the system drive.
Secondly I would reinstall software like Resolve after the Time Machine restore. If you do a proper full install then import the database or project backups, I would expect them to open correctly
