[Phillip Roh] “But Max Memory Usage at 120%? How can it be above 100%? How could I use more RAM than I have? “

Page files. AE will use some of your HD space as RAM, this is not highly recommended as it is slow (so don’t set it too high!) but it can give you enough headroom to get away with more in a render.

[Phillip Roh] “I have DLL turned off (as i’ve read elsewhere…). Should I turn it on”

I’ve read that it is recommended. It allows Windows to access more contiguous RAM, ideally leading to less fragmentation. Apparently it can cause problems with OpenGL, but I personally don’t think anyone should be using AE’s OpenGL anyway =)
