After Effects won’t import Premiere Pro Project
OK, i have cs5, and I like to edit videos in premiere before transferring them to after effects. this method was fine until i upgraded to cs5. then whenever I have a premiere pro project that is version cs5 that i want to import to after effects, the program starts wigging out and a thing pops up which says:
After effects: aegp plugin premiere pro import: Can’t load premiere pro project, this version is not supported. (5027 :: 12)
anyone have run into this problem before? anyone got a solution?

this may be obvious to you, but I have to ask- are you using AE CS5 and PremierePro CS5?

yes i am. its all cs5

Weird- I use CS5 for a while now and import Premiere to AE- never had this issue, only when I tried importing a CS4 Premiere to AE CS5 once. I solved that by importing to AE CS4 saving and then opening that in AE CS5. Try posting this on the Adobe forums.

So what you’re saying is that I need ae cs4 in addition to cs5 in order for this to work?

In AE, choose “Import Multiple Files” instead. Voila!
