• Adobe Media Encoder

  After Effects wont compose to Media Encoder

  Hi, I am new to After Effects and Media encoder. I recently downloaded both CC versions, created a short AE composition and tried to send it to the AME for MP4 export.

  When I try – Composition > Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue…nothing happens.

  When I try to directly add the AE file to AME it gives an error message “Could not connect to Adobe After effects. Please verify that Adobe After Effects and Adobe Dynamic Link components are installed.”

  When I add to the Render Queue and add to AME from there, it transfers across ok. When I try to export it says “Failed” and the log reads “Could not read from the source. Please check if it has moved or been deleted.”

  Any help would be appreciated.
