I am getting this messge when I close my project:

After Effects warning: memory inefficiency due to 4 unbalanced layer checkouts

And I have to keep closing it because it is getting very slow and I also am having problems RAM previewing…
Purging the memory doesn’t seem to help.

I just installed and am using dv Matte Pro in this project.
Nothing else has changed in my setup which has been very solid for a while.
    Anyone else seen this?
    Thanks,
    Bran

First, I’d delete DVMattePro and see if the problem persists. It it does I’d then trash the AE preferences and go from there. I must say, however, that I’ve been using DVMatte Pro since it came out and have never had a problem with it. Of course, I’m on a Mac and you didn’t say what platform your using and your profile just shows that your a US citizen.

I have upgraded AE to 6.5.1 and now my Ram Preview is no longer slow…
And if I disable DV Matte Pro I don’t get the warning anymore.
    So that’s the culprit.
    Oh well.
Maybe they’ll fix it, because it does seem to give good results for DV footage.

    Thanks for the responses,
