    Hello to all
I want to ask what’s the different between adobe after effects and discreet flame.
Which program is more powerful and deserves making motion graphics?

    Thank you

I’m no expert on Discreet flame, (I’ve never even used/seen it) but from what I understand it is incomparable to After Effects. After Effects is a piece of software, while Discreet’s Flame is a high-end compositing app that is integrated into a special kind of workstation (SGI) made solely for compositing. These can cost upwards of 200,000 dollars. I’m thinking you got Flame mixed up with another program called Combusiton, which is in the same price range as After Effects, and is a very comparable product.
