    Hi

    I have a series of video clips of famous people and i want to cut them away from there backgrounds. Is that possible and if so what methods do you use?

    Most of it will be roto with handfuls of exploiting luminance or color differences between your characters edges and the background to build a matte.

    I would check the archives over the last few years about roto and other keywords for your question. It’s been talked about so much that you should find tons of info on it.
