    Hey everyone,

Im looking into getting Adobe After Effects CS6 on a subscription for a year as I can’t afford my own copy.

Anyway, I want to get Element 3D. I was wondering how the subscription works with bought plugins? If I pay for a year and attach my Element 3D to it does it then mean I will have to buy a new copy of Element 3D when the next year of my subscription comes around?

Also, say if I wanted to upgrade from subscription base to my own copy, would all my plug-ins shift over?

Sorry for the questions, I just cant find an answer and its a lot of money for me.

    Regards,

    Nic

The plugins aren’t hardlocked to a piece of software. You can install them again.
