After Effects Strange Camera Movements…
Posted by Matt Sepeta on September 15, 2010 at 8:21 pmI have been noticing that on during some camera movements, the camera will kind of “extrapolate” movement between two keyframes and wiggle all over the place, moving randomly in different directions despite the absence of keyframes where it is moving.
Is there any way to prevent this? It is driving me crazy!

September 15, 2010 at 9:01 pmTHANKS! That was very helpful, but it almost defeats what am trying to do. I have multiple different “scenes” layed out on a big common background canvas, with the camera flying to each of them, slowly zooming in or panning or zooming out, then swooping off to the next one. When I HOLD the keyframe, it ceases all movement until the next set of keyframes, where the camera moves on to the next destination.

September 15, 2010 at 9:15 pmOk, when I turn the graph editor on there are no keyframes? I have done all the keyframing by “transforming” the camera. Is this incorrect?
Thanks again!

September 15, 2010 at 9:17 pmNever mind. I had to select the desired layer. Silly me!
This clears everything up though, thanks for the help Dave!
