After Effects Scripts – Create a new comp from project item.
Hey peeps,
You know when you drag an item from the project panel onto the new comp icon and it creates a comp containing that item…. do any of you smart people know how to do that with a script?
Is there a simple line or two that does that or will it be a case of coding each process separately, ie, create comp, define setting, bring item into comp.
any light you can shed would be much appreciated!

I’m not sure why you would need a script to do this?
