    Hello All,

It’s possible to use in some way, map data in JavaScript format from googlemap or mapbox in an After Effects project?

If possible, please show me the way.

What kind of map data do you already have, and what are you looking to do with it?

    Hello Walter,

On a regular basis i do animations with maps to illustrate zones of influence, routes or merely to point a location.

    Here is a sample:

I use a serie of screen captures of Google map, then i patch them together to make a higher dimension map, so i can zoom in and out of it without loosing quality.

To get the images i use this API:
    https://gmaps-samples-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/styledmaps/wizard/index.html
It let me edit the appearance and content of the map. It also generates a code(JavaScript) for use it as web content.

It would be so useful if i could use the content generated by the API inside After Effects.

    If it’s possible…
