After Effects Render Displays Wrong Clips
In my project, I had some clips which I replaced by using the “set proxy” option. I’ve rendered it out previously, and it’s worked out perfectly. After making a few changes and setting a few more proxies, now, when I render it, it displays the original files instead of the proxies I set. When previewing in AE, it looks perfectly fine, but after rendering it displays the original files. If anyone could help it would really be much appreciated.

The Render Settings dialog window has a setting that controls the use of Proxies during a File Render. This setting defaults to Use No Proxies – IOW, the original (pre-proxy) files will be used.

If you are rendering with Best Settings, AE will ignore proxies and render from scratch.
You must set Proxy Use to “Use All Proxies” (or “Use Comp Proxies” for comps only, not footage item proxies) in your item’s render settings in the render queue if you want to use your proxies for final renders.
