I have been using After Effects for a while, but I am doing my first large project in AE and I would like to get some feedback on project organization. My main questions is whether or not for a documentary with many small but separate animations, would you create one project for the entire documentary and create folders for each animation or create separate projects for each animation. I would like to be able to export all of the animations overnight and I don’t want to have to babysit and open a new project each time I have to export. I also do not want my project to get to big and a) slow down my computer or b) get too complicated to manage the media properly.

Answers to these specific questions or any other tips on organizing AE projects would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Jacky
