  • After Effects project as template plus possible to clone layers?

I will like to create a animated slide show in after effects which then the user can replace the content (images) in the new future.

My question is how would someone go by this? I have seen other templates but its a bit confusing since not possible to view all comp in the main comp.

Also is it possible to clone a later like Apple Motion where the clone can adjusted but when the original media is replaced the cloner is also update with that image?

    Thx

Most templates do it by tucking everything away in a folder in the project panel except for the composition you want them to render (which is titled “MAIN RENDER” or “RENDER ME” or something) and a folder containing pre comps that they need to put their text/logo/images in. That way, when they place their images in the respective pre comps, everything you’ve set up will work!
