after effects preview using AJA IO
I’ve had this problem since I got the IO many moons ago and always assumed it was a bug. But I notice that after many moons and new software updates that the problem persists.
Whenever I try to use the AJA IO video preview preference in Adobe AE it says I’m”Missing QT codec-8961. Anybody know what I’m doing wrong?

I’d delete your QT preferences and re-install the AJA software. What codec do you use to capture with?

Since everything else seems to work just fine, and this is just a minor function that I don’t use a lot anyway, I’d rather not go through the hassle of deleting prefs and re-loading software. In the past I’ve found that re-loading software is always the first thing I’m told to do and it never solves the problem, and usually compounds it because of overlooked updates and settings lost. I appreciate the advice, but I’ll pass.
I do a lot of straight DV stuff. But when I do turn on my IO, it’s for NTSC US 10bit uncompressed.
