    Hi there

I have an issue regarding rendering a transparent lower third in After effects and then overlaying the clip into my FCP project.

I find when I import the lossless export from AE into FCP and drag it over the top off my pre-keyed clip (or any clip), it leaves a grey border around the transparent image. I have noticed this on every lossless with alpha render have used as an overlay in FCP, but as you can see (have attached a screen grab) against the light background, it stands out massively !

I’m sorry to bother you on this, but you guys might have a simple answer, but it is something I have never figured out and it’s driving me insane !!

    Cheers

    Matt

Looks like you’re using a premultiplied alpha instead of a straight alpha.
